Fijian Holdings Limited has started leasing out space in the $65 million FHL Tower in Suva and is expected to open soon.

Construction on the 18-storey building began in 2018 and was expected to be completed in 2021 but had seen considerable delay due to COVID-19 and the Russia-Ukraine war.

FHL says the tower is Fiji’s first green building, featuring the latest architectural green design.

They say 75 percent of the project has been successfully completed, with a notable 90 percent of the building's exterior, or façade, already procured and installed.

They say in addition to the exterior work, the installation of essential services within the building has progressed well. FHL says these services, which are crucial for the building's functionality and safety, include fire services, hydraulics, mechanical services, elevators, as well as electrical, data, and communication systems, with 70 percent of these installations already in place.
