DATEC Fiji Tech Summit is the first of its kind and the largest technology event in Fiji - Singh

Technology continues to be the primary catalyst in the world and the first ever DATEC Fiji Tech Summit is hosting 20 of the world’s largest technology companies on a single platform in Fiji.

While launching the summit today, DATEC CEO Satyen Singh said it is an exciting event as it is the first of its kind and the largest technology event in Fiji.

Singh adds there are 70 international members with more than 200 delegates from the local and regional companies.

He says the summit is a great platform to make connections during the 2-days as there will be exhibitions, conferences and network opportunities.

The summit will include vendors from Dell Technologies, Lenovo, Fortinet, Arcserve, VMWare, Dahua Technology, Infoblox, Brother, Trend Micro, HP Computer, Pacificomm, EATON and Cloud Ready more will be added to the list.

Head of ICT and Bid Support Ronald Deo Sharma says the delegate options include the Day Delegate which is $750, the sharing delegate costs $1,200 and the single delegate cost is $1,500.

Meanwhile, DATEC Financial officer Vinit Nand says entertainment is an important part of the event for the delegates, vendors and the DATEC team.

There will be local bands, networking sessions, dances, Awards and appreciation sessions.

The DATEC Fiji Tech Summit will be held on the 3rd and 4th of November at the Intercontinental Hotel.
