Ali says as part of their ongoing commitment to technological advancement, they will soon launch an internet payment gateway which will empower Fijian companies to deploy e-commence sites to sell goods and services online to anyone in the world.

He says given this change in customer preference to opt out of branch banking, BSP has announced changes to its operations in Suva.

Ali says their Thompson Street and Suva Central branches will remain open.

He says they are ensuring that all staff from the Pacific House branch are redeployed to other areas of the business.

Ali says over the past 3 years BSP has invested over $15m in capital projects as part of its digital transformation which has delivered a new internet banking platform, new mobile phone banking app, improved SMS banking and boosted security for online transactions.

Ali says together with their Damodar City and Samabula branches, they have the capacity to meet the banking needs of customers who are using the Pacific House branch.

He says BSP will remain well represented with 16 branches, 121 ATMs and 2064 BSP Point of Sale terminals nationwide.
