30 people now have a new job as Vinod Patel’s 19th branch will open in Tebara Plaza, Nakasi where 40 percent or 12 are women and the team will be managed by a female brand manager.

They say the new store offers a convenient and modern shopping experience for customers within the Valelevu to Nausori corridor.

They say a wide range of building materials and finishing products at competitive prices will be available for their customers.

Vinod Patel CEO Rahul Amin says they have been wanting to establish a branch in Nakasi due to frequent requests from customers and an evident business case.

He says Nakasi has a rapidly growing population, and has to find an ideal location in line with their retail standard.

Amin says there are a lot of property developments in the area and scope for them to provide quality, resilient and sustainable building materials to their residential and commercial customers.

He says it is critical to observe the impacts of climate change, including the recent tornado, in the central region.

Chief Operating Officer Neelesh Pal Singh says the store has been set up with safety, diversity and inclusion in mind.

He says they are confident the new store will deliver solution driven services and products bringing them closer to people.

Singh says the new store brings the total number of Vinod Patel female managers to 26.

He says the Company’s Home & Living and Finance Hub outlets is also located at few minutes distance.

Singh says time and convenience is the key for their customers and this combined service is accessible location with ample parking provides an ideal, one-stop, complete building and home solution for all.
