Three schools competing in the Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby Union Super Deans Competition will field teams in every grade this year.
They are Ratu Kadavulevu School, Lelean Memorial School and Suva Grammar School.
RKS are the defending Super Deans champions after defeating Nasinu Secondary School 53-15 in last year's final, while Lelean enter the national playoffs as the top qualifiers from the Eastern Zone.
Suva Grammar are the top team from the Southern Zone after successfully defending their title with a 29-22 win over Nasinu earlier this year.
The national quarterfinals will be played across four venues this weekend – Suva, Tavua, Vatukoula and Savusavu.
In the Under-18 quarter-finals, Lelean will face Ratu Navula College at 4.30pm, followed by Suva Grammar against Ba Provincial Free Bird Institute at 5.55pm, with both matches at the HFC Bank Stadium.
At Garvey Park in Tavua, Ra will take on RKS at 1.40pm, while Cuvu College will face Nasinu Secondary School at 3.05pm.
