Sorovaki is new Rugby Development Manager
The Fiji Rugby Union has appointed former Flying Fijians captain Sale Sorovaki as its new Rugby Development Manager.
 
Hailing from the island of Kadavu, Sale was educated at Lomaivuna Primary School, Naitasiri before moving on to Lelean Memorial School in Nausori and then Wesley College in New Zealand.

Sorovaki lived in New Zealand for 12 years playing in the National Provincial Competition for Wellington from 1993 and 1994.

Later on he moved to Japan to take up a four year rugby contract.

He first represented Fiji on 8th April, 1995 scoring a try on debut in a 10-22 loss to Canada.

All together he played 19 Tests for Fiji, his last cap coming in 1998 against Tonga.
