Terraces Apartment Resort installs grid solar energy system

The Terraces Apartment Resort Denarau in Nadi will now be able to save $30,000 a year on electricity costs following the installation of grid solar energy system.

Denarau Golf Terrace Apartment Incorporated Chairman Gerald Barrack said the rate of solar is less than electricity and they will now be able to generate all of its daytime power through this solar system.

He added that they have 45 apartments, a café, swimming pool and have 100 air conditioners in each apartment.

Sunergise Fiji Limited installed the grid solar energy system and according to Chief Technical Officer Bruce Clay, individual systems have been installed at the resort.
