Sawani mother wins Viti FM pudding competition

A mother of four boys of Sawani village was lost for words when her name was announced as the winner of the Viti FM Christmas Pudding competition today.

Airini Galu, who won $300 as the first prize, said the money has come at the right time as she will use it to help with her family’s Christmas shopping.

She said this is the first time she has entered a competition and put a lot of effort into her baking and she also acknowledged Viti FM for organizing such an event.

The second prize went to Elenoa Wati and the third prize went to Merelita Naqiri.
