Water loss remains a major challenge for the Water Authority of Fiji.
Chief executive officer Opetaia Ravai said while they are identifying new water sources, their aim is to reduce water loss first as they lose a substantial amount.
He said that pressure management and water loss management programs are in place.
Meanwhile, the Water Authority of Fiji was awarded the Best Waste Water Management Utility in New Zealand last month among 21 Pacific Island countries.
