As Resurrection Sunday is being celebrated many churches are using the opportunity today to worship and have fellowship together.

This afternoon at 2, 15 Christian Communities are expected to converge at Ratu Sukuna Park for the Fiji Council of Churches and an ECREA organised Easter Sunday concert.

Themed the Resurrection and Reconciliation and with the aim to promote harmony among Christians the Concert will feature songs, skits, dramas and dances.

The Methodist Church of Fiji are also inviting other Christian Communities to join it's march of Witness from the Flea Market at 4 this afternoon to Ratu Sukuna Park.

Participants in the March will then join the concert which will be held till 8:30 this evening.

Fiji Council of Churches Interim General Secretary, Rev. James Bhagwan said that the concert is a result of the inter-church dialogue process, spanning a number of years, facilitated by ECREA and the revival of the Fiji Council of Churches.

Meanwhile at 5:30 this morning Wesley and Dudley churches in Suva had a combined sunrise Holy Communion service at the Suva Peace Garden opposite the Suva Civic Center.
