5 local youths to go to India

Five local youths have been given the opportunity to go to India under the 18th Know India Program.

The 2nd Secretary for Hindi and Culture at the Indian High Commission, Ramvir Prasad said that Riteshni Singh and Nelvin Nitesh Kumar of Fiji National University will be accompanying Kailesh Kaushal Naidu, Aartika Devi and Vinil Nand of the Western Division to India this Wednesday.

Prasad said the groups expenses will be paid by the Indian government and will spend 3 weeks in India and familiarize themselves with India's governance, economy and culture.

The five are expected to present their report to the Indian High Commission here on their trip and learning experience.
