A flood warning remains in force for the Mamanuca Group, West of the line from Lautoka to Sigatoka and nearby smaller islands.
A storm warning remains in force for Lomaiviti Group, rest of Viti, Kadavu, Beqa.
The centre of severe Tropical Cyclone Evan Category 4 was located about 35 kilometres South West of Nadi at 8pm.
The cyclone is moving South West at about 18 kilometres per hour.
Close to its centre the cyclone is expected to have average winds of upto 185 kilometres per hour with momentary gusts to 270 kilometres per hour.
