The Ministry of Social Welfare will soon receive around 900 sewing machines from China.
These machines will be distributed to the women groups around Fiji to help them earn a living and be independent, especially those women who do not have any other source of income.
So far 1,700 sewing machines have been distributed to women groups throughout Fiji which has been provided by the Chinese and the Indian governments.
