Fiji Rugby Union Chairman Filimoni Waqabaca has confirmed that Mike Ryan has resigned as High Performance Unit General Manager.
Speaking to Fijivillage Waqabaca said the reason for Ryan's resignation is not well known to them.
Waqabaca believes this is because of the decisions they have made to overturn Ryan's selection on the Pacific Mini Games coach and manager for our 7s team.
Legend FM News understands that Sailosi Naiteqe senior was earlier appointed by Mike Ryan as coach for the Pacific Mini Games.
Waqabaca said Naiteqe will still be considered as one of the applicants for the job but a final decision will be made this week.
When contacted this morning Mike Ryan said that he will not comment on the issue.
