Two Lami men stowed away to Brisbane last month were fined $100 each in court today.
Nacani Bale and Asaeli Tuibucalevu, who had earlier pleaded guilty to the offence, completed 14 days in remand and were each ordered to pay a cash fine today.
The court heard that the two boarded the container vessel MV Captain Tasman and hid inside the containers. Upon reaching Brisbane they jumped out but they were caught on camera. They were later arrested and brought back to Fiji.
