Four suspects remain in police custody following separate raids in Solovi, Lautoka and Legalega, which resulted in the seizure of suspected drugs and ammunition.

Nadi Police arrested two men during a raid in Solovi late last night, where plastics containing white crystals believed to be drugs and ammunition were seized.

Police say one of the suspects has a previous history of involvement in drug-related activities.

In a separate operation in Lautoka, a joint taskforce comprising police and military officers seized plastics containing white substances and green leaves believed to be marijuana.

The suspect was taken into custody as investigations continue.

Another raid conducted by the joint taskforce in Legalega also resulted in positive finds.

Police say all four suspects remain in custody while the seized substances are sent for analysis.

Police says the seized ammunition will be handed over to the Republic of Fiji Military Forces for inspection.

Members of the public are urged to report crimes, provide tips or share information about suspicious activities by calling 1681.
