One of the men charged with the murder of two youths in Tabia, Labasa last month has been sentenced to life imprisonment by the Labasa High Court.
31 year old Nilesh Chand pleaded guilty to the charge and High Court Justice Paul Madigan said that Chand will have to spend a minimum of 25 years behind bars.
However second accused Tevita Dutavota pleaded not guilty to this charge and will appear in court on the 9th of September.
Chand was charged with two counts of murder.
The bodies of Abhishek Kumar and Samuel Nand were found near Korosomo Hill.
