The Suva High Court will decide on the bail application for Saimoni Rokotunidau, who is charged with the attempted murder of a female police officer in Laqere and unlawful possession of methamphetamine, next Thursday.
Rokotunidau’s case was called this morning before Suva High Court Judge Justice Dane Tuiqereqere.
Rokotunidau’s counsel, Jerry Dinati, withdrew from representing him in the case, and he will now be represented by Legal Aid.
Justice Tuiqereqere also directed Legal Aid to obtain the disclosures from Dinati and file an affidavit by tomorrow.
