The TNG case has been adjourned to 15th October after TNG counsel Tomasi Tuitoga informed the court that they had only received the affidavit responses yesterday and needed more time to review them.
The case involves TNG's appeal against the Department of Environment's decision to reject its proposed $1.4 billion waste-to-energy plant at Vuda Point.
Tuitoga says they need time to go through the documents and review the relevant paragraphs.
Prosecution lawyer Taufiq Ali did not object to the request and said the matter could proceed once TNG's lawyers had reviewed the responses.
Ali also informed the court that if TNG's lawyers wished to respond, they could file a further affidavit.
The matter was heard before the Environmental Tribunal chaired by Magistrate Charles Ratakele, and has been adjourned to 15th October at 2.30pm.
