Two children remain admitted at CWM Hospital after being injured in an explosion triggered by electrical equipment at Civic House in Suva City.
Police say the children usually wait for their mother at their aunt’s office in Civic House after school.
At about 9pm last night, the 13-year-old and 6-year-old children were playing hide-and-seek.
Police say one child entered the switchboard room to hide.
When the second child opened the door to look for the other child, electrical equipment was accidentally touched, triggering an explosion and causing severe injuries.
The National Fire Authority is yet to respond to our questions.
