The first-ever female Force Psychologist for the Republic of Fiji Military Forces, Sheemal Nand was commissioned to the rank of Captain at the RFMF Headquarters.
Major Atonio Nagauna, Chief Staff Officer International Defence Cooperation/Coordination, was also promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
They say the promotions and commissioning were officiated by the RFMF Acting Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff, Brigadier-General Sapenafa Motufaga, at the Strategic Headquarters at Berkeley Crescent, Suva.
RFMF says the appointments recognise their continued service, professional development and increased responsibilities within the RFMF.
