Streaming platform Netflix has secured the rights to broadcast the 2030 FIFA World Cup in Spain and Andorra, marking the first time the subscription-based service will show the men's tournament.
Netflix says it will broadcast all 104 matches of the world's biggest football competition live.
The 2030 World Cup will be co-hosted by Spain, Portugal and Morocco, with Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay also hosting matches to mark the tournament's centenary.
Netflix says one match per matchday will be available to watch for free in Spain.
The company adds that all of Spain’s matches, along with the final, will also be shown on free-to-air television.
Netflix has previously broadcast live sporting events, including WWE wrestling, NFL matches and boxing.
The platform is also scheduled to broadcast the all-British heavyweight boxing contest between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua in December.
Netflix has also secured the broadcasting rights for the 2027 and 2031 editions of the FIFA Women's World Cup, which will be held in Brazil and the United Kingdom respectively.
