FIJI Water Flying Fijians newly appointed Head Coach Jake White says this year is about stabilising, while next year is about building depth in the team.
White stated this to the media today, saying the last block is to peak before the Rugby World Cup next year when they get their best players available out of Europe.
When asked on building depth, White says he has been working closely with FRU High Perfomance Manager Naca Cawanibuka and he will spend some time with the coaches.

White says his first priority is to do a bit of stabilising, because Fiji were not good in the Asahi Super Dry Pacific Nations Cup in the middle of the year, and his second job is relocating to Fiji.
He says he is going to spend time with the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua, integrate with the villagers, watch some club rugby, and see if he can identify some young talent.
The Flying Fijians coach says he will work with Under 18 and Under 20 coaches to see if they can create a bit of a pathway and make sure that young Fijian boys are looked after.
He says from June they will start preparing for Japan and Australia just before the World Cup, and that will be the time they really try and peak.
White says as the FRU Chairman John Sanday said they want to make sure that their preparation is spot on so by the time they leave for Australia they have basically got a very fit, healthy, conditioned, and very skilful team.
He adds they want to try and work to get the best prepared group of players ever to go to a World Cup which will be a challenge for and that is why Solesolevaki is their theme.
White's first task will be to coach the Flying Fijians as they take on Japan in a Test match next Saturday at 5.50pm in Japan, and then prepare the team that will take part in the Nations Championship next month.
