Legend FM Breakfast Show hosts Alex Elbourne and Victoria Volmer, together with FM96 Breakfast Show hosts Joey Leilua, Tifa Vataiki and Elenoa Lido, will put their fitness to the test tomorrow when they climb Mount Batilamu, marking the final challenge of a 12-week workplace wellness programme.
The Communications Fiji Limited personalities have been taking part in BSP Life's Healthy Choices Workplace Wellness Programme, which encourages healthier lifestyles and aims to help reduce the growing impact of non-communicable diseases in Fiji.
Legend FM Content Director Victoria Volmer thanked BSP Life for supporting the team's wellness journey, saying the programme has helped participants build healthier habits while preparing them for the Mount Batilamu climb.
She says the team is excited and looking forward to completing the challenge together.
Speaking to fijivillage News ahead of the final challenge, BSP Life General Manager Distribution and Marketing George Kotobalavu says the Healthy Choices programme is being rolled out to corporate organisations across the country to promote health and wellbeing in the workplace.
Kotobalavu says the initiative encourages people to make healthier choices in their everyday lives, whether it is eating nutritious meals, exercising regularly or simply staying active.
He says Fiji continues to face a major challenge with non-communicable diseases, and BSP Life wants to take a proactive approach by helping people adopt healthier habits.
Kotobalavu says the Healthy Choices programme is about raising awareness, encouraging discipline and supporting people to live longer, healthier lives.
