The Vodafone Fiji Bati's Rugby League World Cup campaign has come to an end after going down 78-0 to the New Zealand Kiwis in their final pool match this afternoon.
It was a one-way game as the New Zealanders ran in thirteen unanswered tries.
Panthers wing Casey McLean scored four tries, Keano Kini scored twice, while Jahrome Hughes, Dane Gagai, James Fisher-Harris, Ronaldo Mulitalo, Xavier Willison, Erin Clark and Briton Nikora scored a try each.
The Bati could not handle the pressure applied by the Kiwis, resulting in players making numerous errors.
The Kiwis executed their game plan effectively and ran rampant against the Bati.
The Kiwis will now turn their focus to the semifinals next Saturday.
