All eight Swire Shipping Fijian Drua home matches will be played in Fiji despite speculation that cost-cutting measures could affect the team's home fixtures amid uncertainty over the future of Super Rugby Pacific.
Drua Chief Executive Officer Jeff Miller told fijivillage News that an expense reduction plan was developed using a matrix to assess the potential impact of each measure on team performance.
Miller says the measures have had no significant impact on player salaries, staffing or operations.
He says the Drua expect any changes to Super Rugby Pacific to be positive and aimed at strengthening the competition and creating more opportunities.
Miller says the Drua's financial plan has not changed, and they are looking to replace funding previously provided by World Rugby through a number of initiatives aimed at developing new revenue streams and growing the Drua brand internationally.
The Drua will play their first home game against the Highlanders on 13th February.
