Paula Vonolagi of Yellow House and Lisa Cakaubulisova of Blue House claimed gold in the Senior Boys’ and Girls’ 100 metres.

Vonolagi clocked a manual time of 10.78 seconds, while Cakaubulisova recorded 13.60 seconds.

Vonolagi and Cakaubulisova are both aiming to win gold for Suva Grammar at their Zone meet and are working hard to bring glory to the school at the Coca-Cola Games.

Vonolagi says preparations were tough as he had to juggle between schoolwork and training, but he is determined to improve his performance at the Zones.

Meanwhile, Cakaubulisova says she dedicates this win to her great-aunt, who has been an inspiration to her.

Green House continues to lead the overall medal tally at the Suva Grammar School Battle of the Colours 2026 competition with 18 gold, 12 silver and 7 bronze.

Yellow House, which was in last place after Day 1 of the competition, is now in second place with 12 gold, 11 silver and 10 bronze, while Blue House is third with 9 gold, 6 silver and 8 bronze.

Red House is in fourth place with 5 gold, 10 silver and 10 bronze.

The Suva Grammar School Battle of the Colours competition is currently underway at the HFC Bank Stadium.
