Varani dominates boys’ division at Lelean Inter-House competition

Varani dominated the boys’ division in the overall medal tally at Lelean Memorial School’s Inter-House Competition at the HFC Bank Stadium, finishing on top with 11 gold, 13 silver and 10 bronze.

Lelean’s Blue Ribbon champion Aporosa Vakatale, who clocked 11.4 seconds, says he is placing his faith in whatever God has planned for him.

Girls’ Blue Ribbon champion Seini Leweniqila who clocked 13.7 seconds, says she wants to run in the Coca-Cola Games.

Naucu placed second with 8 gold, 6 silver and 11 bronze, while Matei and Bulu were closely matched, both securing 9 gold and 9 silver medals.

Matei edged Bulu for third place after collecting 6 bronze compared to Bulu’s 7.

In the girls’ division, results were recorded using tally marks across all schools, indicating strong participation from Varani, Naucu, Matei and Bulu.

The school acknowledged the athletes for their competitive spirit and performances, noting that the event showcased emerging talent from the participating schools.
