Maafu House has won the Ratu Kadavulevu School inter-house athletics competition with 19 gold, 12 silver, and 15 bronze.

Cakau House finished second with 12 gold, 17 silver, and 14 bronze, followed by Degei House with 12 gold, 16 silver, and 13 bronze, while Sukuna House finished fourth with 5 gold, 7 silver, and 8 bronze.

One of the highlights of the competition was the Senior Boys 100 metres race, where Salamisa Masi of Sukuna House stormed to victory in an impressive 10.56 seconds.

The sprinter from Joma, Kadavu, who previously attended Gospel High School, had a slightly slow start out of the blocks but quickly built momentum through the drive phase and powered to the finish line.

His time of 10.56 seconds is now the fastest secondary schools athletics 100 metres time recorded at the stadium this season, setting a strong benchmark ahead of the upcoming zone athletics meets.

Masi first gained attention in 2023 when he won the Junior Boys 100 metres title at the Gospel High School inter-house competition, and his latest performance shows he continues to improve as a sprinter.
