Drua’s attacking spark missing in 21-6 defeat to Reds

There were not a lot of positives that came out of last week's match, where the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua, who are known for having an expansive game, did not score any tries after going down 21-6 to the Queensland Reds.

Fijian Drua Coach Glen Jackson highlighted this to the media, saying their lineouts did not work as well as they would like.

Skipper, Frank Lomani says they entered the Reds 22 metres a few times in the first half but were unable to convert them into points.

Lomani says that is something they are going to be looking at as they travel for their next two games to New Zealand to take on the Blues and the Crusaders.

The Fijian Drua play the Blues this week in their round 7 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific at 6.05pm Saturday.

In other games, Moana Pasifika host the Highlanders at 6.05pm Friday, and the Brumbies will meet the Waratahs at 8.35pm.

On Saturday, the Hurricanes will face the Reds at 3.35pm, while the Force play the Chiefs at 8.35pm.
