Swire Shipping Fijian Drua fullback Ilaisa Drosese has been taking part in support sessions with the team psychologist following his performance against the Chiefs in Christchurch on Sunday.

Head coach Glen Jackson confirmed this to fijivillage News from the team’s base in Nadi.

He says Fiji’s passionate rugby supporters often bring high expectations, which can lead to strong reactions.

Jackson described Drosese as a talented player who has developed significantly over the years and contributed to Fiji reaching the quarter-finals at the last Rugby World Cup.

While noting that the recent match did not go in his favor, Jackson added that the wider squad continues to support and motivate him.
