Extra Bula FC is focused on securing another crucial home win, with defender Adam Supyk highlighting the team’s determination ahead of their Round 5 OFC Pro League clash against South Melbourne FC tomorrow.
Following their hard-fought 1–nil win over PNG Hekari FC, Supyk, who won PLayer of the Match, says the side had to work very hard against PNG, who defended deep and remained disciplined throughout the match.
He also highlighted the strong support from fans, describing them as the 12th man on the field.
Supyk says hearing the cheers from the crowd gave the players extra energy to push through the heat and maintain intensity during the game.
He adds that the team will now focus on recovery and preparation for the upcoming two matches, with their sights firmly set on qualifying for the play-offs.
Bula FC, who are currently third on the points table, will take on second-placed South Melbourne FC at 7pm tomorrow at 4R Stadium in Govind Park, Ba.
They will then face table leaders Auckland FC at 7pm on Saturday, also at 4R Stadium.
