All Eyes on Yalimaiwai, McCaig and Taylor at Easter showdown in the pool

Samuela Yalimaiwai, Hansel McCaig, and Reuben Taylor are among the swimmers to watch at the upcoming Easter Fiji Swimming competition, which will be held over the Easter weekend.

Fiji Swimming technical consultant Theresa Cheer shared this with fijivillage News.

She says the Baracudda Swim Club will return as the defending champions.

She highlighted Yalimaiwai and Taylor—both record holders.

Yalimaiwai currently holds the national record in the 50m backstroke, while Taylor established new Fiji Aquatics records last year.

Other swimmers expected to compete include Vivita Bai, Theola Kwong, Thaddeus Kwong, Charlina Simpson, and Keenan Kostatino.

The competition will be held at the Aquatic Centre in Suva, beginning on Friday and concluding on Sunday.
