World Surf League returns to Fiji for three-year term

The World Surf League Championship Tour will return to Fiji in 2024 for a new three-year term, following Cabinet approval.

This was confirmed by the Steering Committee chaired by the Permanent Secretary for Tourism and Civil Aviation, who says the move recognises the value of hosting world-class events in Fiji.

The Fiji Pro, a key event on the Championship Tour, was last held at Cloudbreak from 2014 to 2017.

This year, the 2024 Corona Fiji Pro Presented by Bonsoy will take place from 20th to 29th August at Cloudbreak—one of the world’s most renowned surf breaks.

The Committee also confirmed that the next edition of the Fiji Pro is scheduled for August 2025.
