Chiefs co-captain Aaron Cruden says they would rather win ugly then lose pretty as they head into their Super Rugby semifinal clash with the Crusaders this weekend.
Cruden says he is happy with the determination shown by his side as they progress to the semi‑finals where they will face the Crusaders in Christchurch.
He says they are ready to fight another day and to handle the pressure moments.
The Crusaders will host the Chiefs at 7.35pm Saturday in the first Super Rugby semi final while the Lions will host the Hurricanes at 12.30am Sunday in the second semi.
