Melbourne Storm winger, Suliasi Vunivalu says he was not thinking about breaking the record last Saturday as he was focused on doing his job for the team.
Vunivalu says when he saw Cooper Cronk about to kick the ball, he said to himself he was going to get this and it all just sunk in which was pretty special.
Vunivalu has scored 22 tries for the Storm so far this season.
As Vunivalu is preparing for his maiden finals series, he says he is very excited and has been talking to Marika Koroibete and they are both pumped up.
The Storm face the defending champions the Cowboys at 9.55pm tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the Broncos will play the Titans at 9.55pm tonight.
