Vinod Patel’s Finance Hub sponsors Netball Fiji’s inaugural Super League competition

Vinod Patel’s Finance Hub Division has secured the naming rights for the 2023-2025 Netball Super League after signing a 3 year sponsorship deal with Netball Fiji.

The tournament will now be called the Finance Hub Netball Super League.

Netball Fiji CEO Vivian Koster says it is a great start to the year for Netball Fiji and she thanked Finance Hub for the new partnership.

She says Netball Fiji has set out to grow the number of competitions in the country and a key consideration has been the need for more elite level competition for their athletes to better prepare them for international tests, a vision that the Finance Hub Super League is part of.

She says the Netball Super League will provide another platform for athletes to earn a call up into the national team and also help them in their preparation for the Netball World Cup later this year.

Vinod Patel CEO Rahul Amin says this sponsorship serves a deeper purpose than commercial interest as it represents their corporate values of engagement and collaboration at the community and national levels.

Amin says the sponsorship will help boost netball through high-level game exposure.

He says sports has always brought Fijians together and they are proud to continue to support that spirit of unity.

Finance Hub General Manager, Naushad Ali says the company is excited about encouraging the participation of women in sports.

Ali says this is a great opportunity for them as a business family to intentionally invest in their company’s principles of diversity, inclusion and equality.

The Finance Hub Netball Super League will commence on the 20th May with 6 teams competing every fortnight over a 12 week period.
