Uncapped wing Reiko Ioane is among five players called into the All Blacks squad for their Rugby Championship clash with Australia on Saturday.
This is after a list of injuries hit the team in their first clash in Sydney.
19‑year‑old Ioane, who All Blacks coach Steve Hansen has earmarked as a potential centre has just returned from the Rio Olympics, where he was part of New Zealand’s rugby 7s team.
New Zealand kicked off the Bledisloe Cup with a 42‑8 win in Sydney.
Utility back Damian McKenzie and centre Seta Tamanivalu, both of whom were in the squad for the June series against Wales but not included for the Rugby Championship have also been called into the team.
Hookers Liam Coltman and James Parsons have also been called into the team after Nathan Harris and Codie Taylor were injured in Sydney.
Centres George Moala and Ryan Crotty and wing Waisake Naholo are also injured.
The All Blacks can retain the Bledisloe Cup with a draw this Saturday.
They have held the trophy since 2003.
The Wallabies will face the All Blacks at 7.35pm Saturday at Westpac Stadium in Wellington.
