Back in the Queensland State of Origin side, Billy Slater says he is leaning toward extending his career and re‑signing with the Melbourne Storm for the 2018 NRL season.
Slater who turns 34 this weekend, will cap a remarkable comeback story when he runs out in Origin Game II next Wednesday and this will be his first match for Queensland since game two, 2015.
Meanwhile, the Storm will take on the Cowboys at 7.30pm Saturday.
