Hurricanes back‑up hooker Ricky Riccitelli undaunted by prospect of replacing Dane Coles.
Coles remains in contention to play, although it's hard to see how given the rib cartilage injury he suffered in the 41‑0 quarterfinal win over the Sharks.
Riccitelli from Taranaki was a schoolboy cricketer of some note, before getting his rugby chance with Hawke's Bay and now the Hurricanes.
In the Super Rugby semis this week, the Chiefs will meet the Hurricanes at 7.35pm Saturday while the Lions will host the Highlanders at 2.30am Sunday.
