Rayasi making his presence felt in French Top 14 competition

Former Hurricanes winger Salesi Rayasi is making his presence felt at the French Top 14 competition after another dominant performance for Vannes in their 30-20 win over Lyon this morning.

Rayasi scored a try in the second half of the match which helped the side secure the win.

The 27-year-old moved to France after spending 6 seasons at the Hurricanes and has never failed to impress so far with his performance, especially with his attacking game.

Rayasi ran a total of 68 metres in 20 carries including 3 line breaks and beating 4 defenders.

He also had 1 try assist.

Rayasi started on the wing alongside former Flying Fijians winger Filipo Nakosi while Kitione Kamikamica came off the bench.

Meanwhile, former Flying Fijians utility back Semi Radradra started at centre for Lyon with hooker Sam Matavesi coming off the bench.

In other Top 14 matches today, Toulouse beat Montpellier 20-11, La Rochelle defeated Pau 49-25, Clermont defeated Bayonne 26-10, Castres defeated Perpignan 27-12 and Bordeaux defeated Racing 52-34.
