Olympic 7s gold medalist, Vatemo Ravouvou will make his debut at fullback for his new club, Western Sydney Rams against Perth Spirit this Saturday.
While speaking to ABC Pacific Beat, Rams coach, John Muggleton says they have few Fijians, Tongans and Samoans in the team and they are trying to be representatives of rugby in Western Sydney.
Muggleton says he is delighted to have an Olympic gold medallist on board and they know Ravouvou’s ability as a footballer.
He says they are not trying to poach players away from the Fiji national side.
They have also recruited Cyril Reece from the Fiji Warriors in the team.
