Police Women’s Touch Rugby Team retains title edging Army 4-3

The Police women's touch rugby team has defended its title, securing a 4-3 win against Army.

Police led 1-0 at the break, but Army rallied and scored three tries to level the game.

Police captain, Adi Ema Tawake, says that despite losing some of their seasoned players, the team stepped up to secure the victory.

Army captain, Frances Valentine, told fijivillage News that their players tried their best.

Meanwhile, Fiji Airways Fiji 7s extended squad player, Terio Tamani is representing Police in their touch rugby team.
