Chiefs coach Dave Rennie says his players are focused on playing rugby, after an off‑season of off‑field dramas.
After being cited for all the wrong reasons, the Chiefs are now hoping to do the talking on the field as they look to ramp up their Super Rugby preparations.
Although Rennie was not keen to dwell on his team's recent indiscretions, he did acknowledge that the franchise's image had taken a hit.
Rennie then later confirmed that the team would again be co‑captained by Aaron Cruden and Sam Cane with players part of the All Blacks squad to officially join the squad next Monday and in decent shape.
The Chiefs will play the Highlanders on the 24th of this month.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs will play the Crusaders in Fiji on the 19th of May.
