Former British and Irish Lions halfback, Mike Phillips is sick of the way people "roll out the red carpet" for the All Blacks.
Phillips, who played in five Lions tests over 2009 and 2013 tours, faced the All Blacks seven times for Wales and never beat them.
The Welsh halfback admitted the three‑time World Champions had earned the aura and respect they had created, but it drove him mad because Wales 'were always guilty' of respecting the All Blacks too much.
The Lions will play the New Zealand Barbarians at 7.35 tonight.
