Oceania and World Rugby Services Manager Bruce Cook says they are ready to assist Fiji in building the ability of organising a World class 7s tournament.
With Fiji’s bid to host a leg of the World Sevens Series in 2020, Cook says there is a lot of work involved when hosting an international sevens tournament.
The Fiji Rugby Union officially announced its intention to bid for a leg in the HSBC World 7s Series last month.
Minister for Youth and Sports Laisenia Tuitubou is urging members of the public to support the bid by registering online on www.fijifor7s.com.
Tuitubou says it is time to prove to the world that Fiji is capable of hosting a successful Leg of the HSBC World 7s Series.
