Nuggets send Lakers packing with 108-106 win in NBA Playoffs Round 1

The Los Angeles Lakers have been knocked out by the Denver Nuggets 108-106 in the Playoffs Round 1 this afternoon.

The Nuggets took out the first quarter 28-24 before the Lakers came back and claimed the second quarter 29-22.

The Nuggets then claimed the third quarter 31-26 before holding the Lakers to a 27-all in the last quarter to claim the close win and send the Lakers home.

Nuggets’ point guard Jamal Murray scored a total of 32 points in the win.

The Lakers had the services of LeBron James who scored 30 points in the game but was not enough to help them stay in the competition.

The win by the Nuggets has seen them claim a 4-1 aggregate win and move on to the next stage.
