The Nasinu Secondary Under 18 team received a timely boost from BLK and Vodafone today ahead of their Coke Zero Deans Southern Zone competition this weekend.
BLK today presented the team their new outfit for the season with a “Iron Man” design.
Nasinu Secondary Under 18 coach Isikeli Kalouniviti says this is a timely boost as they are preparing for the first game against Ratu Sukuna Memorial School this Saturday.
Kalouniviti says two of their players who featured in the Under 18 team last year will be part of the team this year.
Meanwhile Director Commercial and Marketing of BLK, Liga Gukisuva is urging old scholars and parents to support their schools early and not to leave it too late until the national quarters.
Gukisuva adds that BLK partnered with Vodafone to provide the jerseys for Queen Victoria School, Ratu Kadavulevu School, Ratu Navula College, Cuvu College, Natabua High School, Saint Johns College, Nasinu Secondary and Suva Grammar School.
When asked on the total value of the support in monetary terms, Gukisuva said that it is confidential.
The Southern Zone Coke Zero Deans competition will start this Thursday with Marist Brothers High School taking on LDS College while Nasinu will face RSMS at 3.10pm at the Suva Grammar School grounds.
In the other Southern Zone Under 18 match, Suva Grammar School will take on Monfort Boys Town at 2pm.
