Fijian Drua lock Isoa Nasilasila

Swire Shipping Fijian Drua lock Isoa Nasilasila will be making his 28th Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific appearance for the Drua today.

The 24-year-old is the most capped player in the Fijian Drua side.

Nasilasila made his debut for the Fijian Drua in round 1 of the 2022 Super Rugby Pacific season against the Waratahs and has ever since stamped his mark on the position.

The Viseisei, Vuda man has been one of the key players for the club and has never failed to put on a show every time he heads onto the field.

Last year, the lanky forward featured in all the Fijian Drua games and helped the side make history by reaching the quarter finals of the Super Rugby Pacific in just their second year in the competition.

His outstanding performance earned him a call-up into the Fiji Water Flying Fijians squad that participated at the Rugby World Cup last year in which they reached the quarter finals for the first time in 16 years.

Nasilasila will be starting at locks against the Blues in the first round of the 2024 Super Rugby Pacific season.

The Drua will take on the Blues at 3.35pm today in Auckland.

In other round 1 matches, the Highlanders will host the Moana Pasifika at 6.05pm, and the Reds will take on the Waratahs at 9.05pm tonight.
