Namosi Women focus on defence and discipline ahead of Marama Championship semi final
Namosi Women’s rugby team

The Namosi Women’s rugby team is working hard to improve their defence, discipline and line-out performance as they prepare to face Nasinu in the semi final of the Marama Championship on Saturday.

Team Manager Etonia Taivoce says the players are determined to make up for their earlier loss to Nasinu during the competition rounds, emphasising that they will not let history repeat itself.

Taivoce adds that the team’s main goal is to reach the final once again this year and bring the trophy home to Namosi.

Namosi will meet Nasinu at 9am on Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium.

In another semi final, Suva will face Kadavu at 11am at the same venue.
